Ghatlodiya is a residential area of Ahmedabad in Amdavad district. It is a residential-cum-commercial area of the city. The main sub-localities of Ghatlodiya include Ghatlodia Village, KK Nagar, Pratap Chowk, Sayona City and Chanakyapuri. Most of the families live in KK Nagar, which is also called Patidar Chowk. Ghatlodiya is known for its significant population of Patels, who mostly live in KK Nagar. The area has Vidhan Sabha seat that was constituted in 2012.
