The Compitese, located on the slopes of the Lucca side of the Monti Pisani, is known and loved for the typical stone houses, the mills built on impetuous streams, the narrow and cobbled streets, the gardens of the austere villas, rich in fragrant Camellia plants. Right in the heart of an ancient village, this elegant and refined typical Tuscan residence is sold. Probably belonged in the past to the diocese of Lucca, it was then used as a peasant house with an adjoining stable: the remains of this ancient use are still evident in the garden, where there is the well, while on the stone façade you can see the iron hooks to which the wheat cobs were hung to be dried.
