Leopoldina of the early nineteenth century to be restored in the countryside in Cortona.
Description:
The property already present in the historic Leopoldine cadastre dates back to the early nineteenth century and is spread over three levels so composed. The main structure of the leopoldina is connected by a canopy to a building that had agricultural use. The ground floor of the villa was intended for agricultural activity and has an entrance hall, four large cellars, a storage room, a bathroom and a kitchen, as well as a large room for garage use and an ancient wood-burning oven. The connecting canopy leads to the large adjoining portion with former stables with large volumes, tool shed and cellar. On the first floor of the villa with connection by internal and external staircase posthumously there is a kitchen, a bathroom and 7 rooms divided between sleeping and living area. On the last level there is the typical tower of the leopoldine of about 20 square meters with an engraving depicting Santo Stefano on the external façade. In total the structure is spread over about 900 square meters.

Condition and finishes:
The property is to be restored in its entirety both in the residential and agricultural part with partial works already started recently. There are no systems and windows but the materials used and the stylistic choices make us understand that we are in front of what was a prestigious property. The floors are mainly in splendid original terracotta, with some areas in pietra serena (typical Florentine characteristic). Even the fireplace is in pietra serena, the rooms have splendid barrel and cross vaults and the ceilings of the first floor return the original pine beams. Currently the roof has partial damage due to the wind, there are also 2 wells to be recovered.
