Work of Gaius Flaminius, consul between 225 and 220 BC. The Via Flaminia is the most important communication artery of Umbria in its function of creating a rapid connection between Rome and the Adriatic.
The road, which entered Umbria, reached Ocriculum (today's Otricoli) and then headed for Narnia.
