Mosteiros is a Portuguese parish in the municipality of Ponta Delgada, with 8.98 km² of area and 1021 inhabitants (2021 census). The population density is 113.7 inhabitants per km². It is a parish considered summer. It is located at the western end of the island of São Miguel, Azores, about 30 kilometers from the capital of the island (city of Ponta Delgada), and about ten kilometers from the bathing area of Ferraria. It is at an altitude of 16 to 30 meters above sea level, being a kind of large fajã. The rest of the parish is much higher (Pico and Lombas) with altitudes between 140 and 190 meters. The Monasteries have a road that allows the connection to Ponta Delgada, both by the South and by the North, as well as to the city of Ribeira Grande.
