As dawn broke over Lake Nehai, a father awoke in the lakefront home. This vacation home features three bedrooms upstairs and a couple more non-conforming options in the basement, so everyone was still asleep in their quarters. Sipping his coffee on the deck overlooking the early morning lake, he planned the day.  First, he envisioned a morning of fishing off the dock, where the kids could practice their casting while he reminisced about his own childhood adventures.  The previous owners had boasted about the great fishing to be had at this lake, even just off the dock.  A late morning brunch would be served after fishing, and the open dining/kitchen combo would have more than enough room for everyone to be comfortable.    Taking another sip of coffee, he knew once it warmed up, it would be time for a dip. The kids would delight in diving off the dock, their laughter echoing across the lake. He would enjoy the shade on the lower deck with the breeze making it even more comfortable.    Once the sun dipped lower in the sky, he planned to get the fire pit out of the 24x30 storage shed and prepare for the evening. There would be marshmallows to roast and stories to share, their sun-burnt faces lit by the glow of the flames.  The thought of this perfect summer day engulfed him as he finished his coffee. This lakefront home wasn't just a beautiful property; it was the backdrop for memories in the making.  Sliding open the door from the deck to the living room, he heard children rustling around and he knew the day had begun.
