Arcelor Mittal's CEO Lakshmi Mittal owns three mansions in London. The most opulent of them all is the one next to Roman Abramovich and Len Blavatnik's abode. It is nicknamed as Billionaire's Row and is estimated to cost £250 million. The property is spread over 55,000 sq ft and adorns marble imported from the quarry mined for building Taj Mahal. The mansion also has a Turkish bath, a ballroom and an oak-panelled picture gallery. Mittal bought another 12-bedroom palatial accommodation on Palace Green in Kensington for £117 Million for his son in 2008. Mittal gifted his daughter a £70 million mansion in the same year.

Heading the financial lender, Yes Bank, Rana Kapoor owns a residential building on Altamount Road, one of the upmarket residential pin codes in Mumbai. The building is located in one of the most upmarket neighbourhood that also has houses of billionaires Mukesh Ambani and Kumar Mangalam Birla, among other renowned names. The mansion was bought for Rs 128 crore with a built-up area of 14,800 sq ft.   

Vikram Chatwal

Vikram Chatwal is a prominent hotelier based in the US. He owns a bachelor pad in New York's Manhattan, which he bought in 2010 for $6 million. For styling the property, Chatwal hired Mark Zeff. The interior decoration of the property was done for $2 million. His apartment adorns clippings and photographs of Chatwal with the renowned world leaders including former US president Bill Clinton. There is also a mirrored wall with a built-in TV, inspired by the sleekness of Chatwal's 150-ft yacht.

Hinduja Brothers

Always away from the limelight, the Hinduja brothers own a palatial property near Buckingham Palace. The palace was bought from the British monarch in 2006 for £100 million and have spent heavily to restore the 70,000-sqft mansion. The six-storey palace is divided into four apartments, custom-built for King George IV. The property that boasts English architecture has a swimming pool and a cinema hall, too.

Cyrus Poonawalla

One can only imagine the extravagance of a property which was previously owned by an Indian maharaja and the US government. The pharma mogul bought the Lincoln House for $113 million in one of the most expensive residential property deals completed in the recent times. Located at Breach Candy Road, Mumbai it is a seaside heritage mansion spread over an area of 50,000 sq ft. Previously known as Wankaner House, the property was used by the US government as consulate general in Mumbai.
